She's got the face and the body, and now she's also got the business. She's best known as one of Ireland's favourite photo-call models but now Sara Kavanagh is branching out, fulfilling a lifelong dream to open her own beauty salon. Still just 22, she is capitalising on her profile and industry contacts, and is making her first foray into the world of business, launching Mud Pie, a brand-new salon with Hot Yoga and personal-training facilities.
She's always wanted more than life in front of the lens. Sara trained as a beauty therapist after leaving school and then ran a salon, before walking into Assets and launching her career as an Irish Model. It has been part of her plan to return to her first love all along. "I always wanted to do it while I was still young," she says. She's mixing business with pleasure. Sara's not worried about going into business with her boyfriend, personal-training expert Alan Byrne.
