A Stylish Venue with Private Function Room from the Acclaimed Team of town BAR & GRILL

Serving classic European Bistro favourites with a contemporary bias, South has the capacity to seat two-hundred and fifty diners over three stunning floors and offers a unique space as a venue for exclusive corporate events from premiers to product launches. The Ground Floor hosts a stage area with Baby Grand Piano and spacious outdoor terrace while the chic horseshoe-shaped Bar serves the finest Cocktails, beers, champagne and wines providing a stylish setting for pre-dinner drinks before moving upstairs to the bustling First floor restaurant.

South Bar and Restaurant is the first independent restaurant to locate in the rapidly developing Beacon South Quarter at Sandyford. Situated in the heart of Dublin’s most exciting development, South is directly opposite the Beacon hospital and The Beacon Hotel.

The interior of South, which was designed by renowned Irish architecture firm De Blacam and Meagher, defines modern chic with bespoke terrazzo flooring, stained oak panelling, warm honey blonde palettes and natural materials used throughout. It is an exceptional venue for any function with wheelchair access throughout.

The South bar and restaurant is available for booking the entire venue for larger events For groups up to 500 persons reception style or 250 persons dining.

The Lower Ground Floor Also known as The Basement, hosts the chic horseshoe-shaped bar with stage area with a baby grand piano. This area leads on to a spacious gardened outdoor terrace. Parties of up to 130 guests dining or 200 guests reception style setting can be catered for. This area is available for both Private and Corporate bookings. as well as a perfect setting for Engagement parties, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Product Launches and Film Premiers. With Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

The Private Room is situated upstairs from the restaurant caters for groups of up to 60 guests dining or 90 guests in a reception setting. The room comprises of private bar and washrooms with a designated private lift from all floors. The Private Room at SOUTH bar and restaurant is the ideal spot for all Private and Corporate Meetings and Functions.
